At that point in time a girl from the group asked this question to her friends: How can we as Catholics preach a pro-life stance, but then we don’t actually do anything to facilitate these women to be pro-life? I asked God in my head, “You’re making this my job, aren’t you?” It was almost sarcastic. I then looked down at my phone… And I watched it die in my hand…
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7) Except… There are still women who feel lost, who feel uncared for, who feel shamed, who feel trapped, and, ultimately, feel hopeless.
On July 15, 2017, around 100 people gathered deep in a park in St. Louis, surrounded by balloons, laughing children, and lots of trees. Some of them had ridden over 100 miles that day, some were just sweaty because it was warm outside. The 2017 Biking for Babies Celebration of Life had begun.

Erin is a second-year rider for Biking for Babies. Last year, she rode with the Southern Team, even though she’s a Chicago-area native! This year, she’ll be rolling down the Mississippi on the Northern Route. Read on as she describes the PRC she’s been partnered with: Pregnancy Resource Center of Rolla.
Julia is a first-year rider from Orlando, FL. She has been partnered with a PRC in Covington, LA, and we know many of our friends from the area already volunteer with Northlake! She shares how people can get involved both locally and nationally to support this center.
Biking for Babies is a month away from kicking off its 9th annual national ride as an organization. Trainer and rider Kevin is preparing for his 7th Biking for Babies ride and this time of year always has him asking an honest question: “am I ready?”
Year after year, Biking for Babies missionaries establish local rides to raise funds, raise awareness, and also to continue training in community. Jonathan shares about last year’s Wisconsin ride, ridden with “gusts of trial and the hills of torment,” and completely blessed with friendships, evangelization, and encouragement. And you can be involved with this year’s ride; it’s this weekend (June 3-4)!
