Julia is a first-year rider from Orlando, FL. She has been partnered with a PRC in Covington, LA, and we know many of our friends from the area already volunteer with Northlake! She shares how people can get involved both locally and nationally to support this center.
Pregnancy Centers dedicate themselves completely: from what they have, to what they obtain, as well as the talents and of the members and volunteers. All is given for the cause, for the people, for the children.
My Pregnancy Resource Partner this year is: Northlake Crisis Pregnancy Center. The home-like center located in Covington, Louisiana offers pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, new moms’ visits/items, long term material assistance, and STD testing.
In addition to their testing and aid, the center goes deeper than the cause of helping the mothers and their children with physical needs. Northlake also offers counseling services and educational programs. Counseling is given to the women if desired, and the new mothers receive it consistently in order to aid them in their transition. It is also available in the form of an abortion recovery group and a healthy relationships group.
The center aims to assist the physical and mental needs of the new parent(s); they are helped medically, given new supplies, as well as consistently checked on through the centers counseling services. Finally, educational courses are offered from pre-natal preparation to parenting courses.
Northlake Crisis Pregnancy Center aims to be there for those who come walking through their doors. They want them, and their baby/family, to succeed and be supported in all the needed ways.
I am participating in Biking for Babies to help support Pregnancy Resource Centers, such as Northlake, so that they may flourish and continue to help those who need a loving hand. I am looking forward to spreading awareness of the Pro-life movement through biking: before, during, and after, as well as visiting my resource center. I am excited to have Northlake’s well-rounded loving services supported this year.

If you are across the country, a donation to Biking for Babies will be split among our 41 PRC partners, including Northlake, to support needs like these. Pray for Northlake, that its’ greatest needs may be met in God’s perfect time; for perseverance for their staff and volunteers; and for an increase in hope and trust from the women and families they serve.

- Diapers (nb-5), wipes, baby care products, Enfamil infant formula, baby food.
- Recurring monthly donations.
- Volunteers to meet with clients.
- Additional Spanish speaking volunteers.
