We are excited to announce that, for the first time in the organization’s history, our 2027 programming will feature two formation seasons, two National Rides, and new routes extending farther west than ever before!
Over the years, we’ve met countless young adults who were drawn to the mission but unable to participate because a single National Ride date conflicted with work, school, weddings, family commitments, or other responsibilities.
By offering two missionary seasons, we’re creating more opportunities for young adults to answer God’s call while continuing to support pregnancy resource centers across the country.
Two Missionary Seasons
Season One
Commitment: March-August 2027
National Ride: July 10-18, 2027
Routes ending in St. Louis:
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- Nebrask
- Ohio (West)
- Oklahoma
- Wisconsin
Route ending in Boise:
- Washington*
Season Two
Commitment: May-October 2027
National Ride: September 11-19, 2027
Routes ending in Philadelphia:
- Maine
- North Carolina
- Ohio (East)
Routes ending in Denver:
- Montana
We intend to offer all 11 routes, and routes are subject to young adult participation and interest.
Expanding West
Among the most exciting developments are the new routes culminating in Boise, Idaho, and Denver, Colorado, representing the furthest western expansion in Biking for Babies history.
Applications Open November 1
Applications for both missionary seasons will open on November 1, 2026 on this webpage.
Prospective missionaries will be able to identify their preferred teams and are not required to participate on a route near where they live. Applicants can discern their preferred team based on geography, National Ride dates, or where they feel most called to serve.
Applications for:
- Season One will close in February 2027
- Season Two will close in April 2027
Looking Ahead
The success of these new routes and expanded opportunities will ultimately depend on the number of young adults who answer the call to serve Christ’s people this year.
We invites you to share the opportunity with young adults who may be searching for their next adventure with Christ.
“If you’ve seen firsthand the impact this mission can have on a young person’s faith, generosity, and sense of purpose, we encourage you to invite others into the mission. The growth we’re announcing today will only become reality through the prayers, invitations, and yeses of young adults across the country.”
