The Biking for Babies Team at SEEK17

13,000 college students, 16-hour days, 5 days in a row…welcome to SEEK! 7 Biking for Babies team members just arrived home from San Antonio, Texas, where we spent the week promoting our movement to thousands of souls at the FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) Conference. To say it was exhausting would be an understatement. But more than that, it was encouraging! We had a constant flow of students at our booth, curious about who we are, what we do, and why we do it. Not once was there negative feedback about us being pro-life. This is the generation that will fight to change our culture to one that cherishes life!

Throughout the week, our intention was to continue to spread awareness about what Pregnancy Resource Centers are doing around the nation, and to invite students to participate in our 2017 ride “A-Cross” America. We had a blast getting students on the bike trainers to ride a mile for our cause and topped off the week with the Ultimate Bike Challenge, seeing who could ride the hardest for the longest period of time.

My role throughout the week looked quite a bit different than the rest of the team as I cared for our 1-year-old B4B mascot, Giorgio. I was able to be a fly on the wall as I watched the team interact with students and each other. The constant positivity was so inspiring and I truly believe the Holy Spirit was moving every soul within the convention center. Jesus Christ wants us to succeed in this fight. He wants our culture to be transformed. Will you join us in 2017 as we fight HIS fight for LIFE? (Note: rider and support crew applications are due February 1 and can be found here!)

Feeling on the fence about being involved this year? Maybe our SEEK video will inspire you to join us on the road, where we are all passionately pro-life!
