Hey everyone! This is Holly and I couldn’t be more excited for biking for babies this May. It is spring break for me right now and I just left my home in Rockton, Illinois after a wonderful visit with my family. I’d say I spent the majority of my time playing with my 5-year old niece(there’s a photo of her below 🙂 ). The weekend couldn’t have been better. We played frisbee and soccer and then later she showed me all of the math facts she learned while I was gone. I can’t explain the joy I get from watching her grow. Spending time with her for the weekend reminds me that this bike ride is more than just a ride to protect life, it’s a ride to bring joys like her into this world and I am honored to be a part of it!
On another note, training is going quite well although right now it has been mainly running and endurance training for me. Longer bike rides are to come! This week will start with one in Napa Valley with one of my best friends from college, Claire Kissane. Oh the joys in life!…
