In the center of this thanksgiving, this opportunity to give praise to a God who’s bigger than the universe and as humble as unleavened bread, we find a moment of God’s grace. This free and unmerited gift he offers to us…simply because he loves us. Because he delights in us.
“I reflect on this past year, and I laugh at how our plans are always overruled by God’s. Even more hilarious is that I never stop planning, and neither does He. The path that God is leading me, my family, and Biking for Babies down is clearer now more than ever. He wants our mission to be bigger and louder. He’s bringing us places we have never been before, showing us avenues to increase our impact at exponential rates. In the business of saving lives, we are never satisfied with our results because every soul counts.”
“As Christians, we need to SERVE! Certainly we need to serve the people around us, but we especially need to serve the most vulnerable and defenseless—the unborn. While I rode for a week, our PRCs serve women and children every single day. Where will you make your impact? I’m telling you the joy is real and it is worth it.”
“We may not be able to completely understand every woman who walks into a pregnancy resource center for help, but we can relate to their needs by continuing to train ourselves to sacrifice for them and their babies.” First year missionary Mariclare shares the unique perspective of one of three siblings on the national ride this year.
Here we were, Biking for Babies, existing exactly where we need to be – in the storm. Our society, both “pro-life” and “pro-choice” have closed the shutters and doors as the storm that is abortion traps women and their families outside. As for Pregnancy Resource Centers, Biking for Babies, and our supporters, we will trudge in the rain and live in the storm. With outstretched hands and open hearts we will reach scared, scarred, and helpless women and their families.
