President
Hi, my name is Chris Massaro and I’m the President of Biking for Babies. It’s been a blessing to work for Biking for Babies since 2021. Prior to leading the organization as the President, I was the Mission Advancement Director. I’ve enjoyed serving our mission partners nationwide and building relationships to advance this mission.
Prior to Biking for Babies, I went to West Chester University of Pennsylvania and finished with a Physics degree in 2013. I followed that by pursuing a doctoral degree in Medical Physics at Vanderbilt University, although I changed course two years later and entered the seminary in Philadelphia to begin formation for the priesthood. My discernment ultimately was that God was not leading me towards priesthood, so I left the seminary and found work with Biking for Babies. In the fall of 2021, I met Kasey, whom I married in April 2024. We live in Chalfont, PA, about an hour north of Philly.
I’m a big sports fan, specifically the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Giants (which is quite a paradox). And although the Giants have been terrible for a decade, I still faithfully cheer for them around my wife’s family, who are die hard Eagles fans. I like to bike, having gotten my start with triathlons in college. And I’m deeply committed to my Catholic faith. My favorite saints are St. Therese of Lisieux and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati. My favorite scripture passage is the raising of Lazarus from John 11.
I invite you to join the Biking for Babies family and, with us, transform generations through the Gospel of life. We’d love to have you! God bless you.
