Just had my first hard (running) workout today since my shin splints that sidelined me last week. Did some hill repeats outside of town. Very cold outside. Thoughts of the unborn babies and their mothers was very motivating during last several hills. Should pick up my bike from the shop tomorrow so that I can start putting some miles in on the bike next week. Essentially, the lady at the bike shop said that my bike sucks and so I’m spending lots of money on it to get it in shape. I think I prefer running hills to make myself in better shape–definitely cheaper.
