Hello everyone! My name is Kevin Biese (pronounced Bees) and I am a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin Madison. I study Kinesiology and am applying to the program of Athletic Training this semester. My home town is Kaukauna, WI which is just 30 minutes southwest of Green Bay.
I played volleyball in high school along with tennis and basketball. I love any and all sports, but my true love is football. I am a partial owner of the Green Bay Packers and I watch them religiously. Besides your classic sports I go hiking every year and I also try to swim laps twice a week. I love biking and during the summer it is my main mode of transportation. I heard about Biking for Babies through Jimmy when he was a missionary here at Madison two years ago. He told me we would be biking over 800 miles and I thought it would be a ton of fun. I was the rookie biker last year and even though some days were really rough I hope that this year my experience will help me better prepare for the trip.
I have grown greatly in my faith the past 6 years; especially because, before then, I would have considered myself atheist. But, God and my family didn’t give up on me even though I had given up on them. So 6 years ago I had a few life changing experiences and now I am excited to glorify God and attempt to repay Him for all of my blessings.
How many Albert Einsteins, Walter Paytons, Michael Jordans and Benjamin Franklins have been killed before they even got the chance to walk or talk? That’s a question I ask myself every day and it pains me to imagine how many amazing people have been aborted. Every dollar we raise goes to help save these children and the money also helps their mothers. I hope everyone keeps Christ in their hearts and prays that every child, from zygote to fetus and on, gets to experience life and all the wonders that God put on this earth. I would like to thank my family for being so supportive and loving over the years and my fiancé who will be joining us as one of the drivers this year. And of course, I would like to thank God for everything because without Him my life would have no meaning.
