My name is Jordan Maternoski and this spring break I’m going to be riding with Jimmy and the team from UW-Madison. I am a junior in school studying civil engineering. I hail from Tomah, Wisconsin. I enjoy the outdoors, working outside, and all sports with my favorite being hockey.
When I first heard about Biking for Babies a couple weeks ago I knew that it was something I wanted to do, not for me, but for the babies. That being said, I have never ridden a bike more than 7 miles. So on February 21, I began my first day of my 5 week training schedule. After fifteen minutes my muscles were sore and I was out of breath, but with babies on my mind I managed to make it 12 miles in 45 minutes. I am just so thankful that the Lord has given me and the others the opportunity to spread awareness and raise money for the protection of life.
