Hello everybody. Let me introduce myself. My name is Eric “Jo Jo” Johannigmeier and I am a first year grad student in structural engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University aka Virginia Tech, VaTech, VT. I graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the wonderful University of Illinois last year. I am from Glen Carbon, Illinois which is right next to Edwardsville and is about 20 miles outside of St. Louis (Go Cardinals!).
I am really into all sports especially running. I love the joy of going for a run and the occasional race. The challenges of running have helped make me the person I am today. Last year was my first year riding with Biking for Babies and it was a blast! It was an amazing feeling to use my talents towards spreading the important message of protecting the lives of babies.
The past couple of years I have grown in my faith, and I have found it amazing how much God loves us and how he blesses us with so many gifts. One of the greatest gifts is the gift of life, and it is important for us to appreciate, respect, and protect life. We must stand up for the unborn babies’ right to life and help others see the beauty of life at all levels.

I want to thank everyone who is making this mission possible and helping out the pro-life cause. Your prayers and support make a huge impact on the world. I am so excited for the journey we are about to travel together. Keep fighting the good fight.

P.S. I hope you can help me raise $15,000 for Pro-Life charities. I can’t do it alone!
