Hello,
My name is Cory Ross and I am a senior majoring in secondary biology education at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I grew up in Freeburg, IL (close to St. Louis) and ran cross-country and track in high school. This is where I first met Mike Schaefer. Little did I know, Mike would become co-founder of Biking for Babies (B4B).
Over the last four years, I’ve heard many stories from Mike about this impressive and challenging charity ride he’d been doing to raise money and awareness for the unborn being killed. This past year Mike asked if I would join him in this exciting endeavor, and well…here I am.
During my time at SEMO, I have grown in faith along with learning and participating in the pro-life movement. Before college I knew very little about abortion and its destructive effects to society and life, but thanks to my campus minister, my eyes have been opened to the horrors that arise from the terrible act.
I feel privileged to be able to go on this ride and stand up for all of the babies that have been killed and are at risk of being killed from abortion. This is an opportunity like no other to truly use what I enjoy doing (biking) to help save the lives of so many that do not have a voice.
Thank you to those who have helped to support this ride and those who have also supported the right to life.
Cory Ross
